Genies
wing player Shaysea Alba has signed to play at Pima Community
College.
The 5' 10" Alba, who helped lead Safford High to the 2010
Arizona 3A State
Championship game, will play for Coach Todd Holthaus at the
Tucson school.

Longtime
Genies post player Ashton Jones has signed to play with D1 Sam
Houston
State. Jones, who moved to Texas prior to her junior year
in high school after spending
five years with the Genies, will play for Coach Brenda
Welch-Nichols Bearcats squad.

Former
Genies player Maylinn Smith has signed to play at D2 Grand
Canyon University in Phoenix.
A four-year varsity standout at Mesquite High, the versatile
Smith will play for Coach Trent May's
Antelopes in the Pacific West Conference.

Former
Genies player Jenna Pearson has also signed to play at D2 Grand
Canyon University in Phoenix.
Pearson, who began her club basketball career with the Genies before
going on to lead Surrey Garden
Christian to the 2008/2009 1A Arizona State championship, will play
for Antelopes Coach Trent May.

Former
Genies player Jenay Locke has signed to play at Mesa
Community College.
Locke, who also began her club basketball career with the Genies before
going on to win two 5A high
school state championships at Highland High, will play for Coach
Kori Stephenson's Thunderbirds.

Former
Genies combo guard Ausha Cole has signed with D1 Montana State of
the Big Sky
Conference. The former Gilbert High lockdown defender will
play for Coach Tricia Binford's Bobcats
in Bozeman.

Genies wing player Sarah Beth Hock has signed with the Arizona
Christian University Eagles. The
former Perry High performer will play for Coach Rick Roth at the
NAIA Phoenix-based school.

Genies guard Brittany Ward has signed to continue her basketball
career with the D3 Macalester
University Scots in St. Paul, Minnesota. The three-point
shooting guard from Red Mountain
High School will play for Head Coach Ellen Thompson.

Former
Genies point guard Miranda Moore has agreed to play at Central
Arizona College. The former
Coolidge High standout will play for Coach Denise "Gooch" Cardenas
and the Vaqueras.
Natalie Markovich has become the third former Genies player to sign
with Grand Canyon University. Markovich,
who started her club career with the Genies before a solid high
school career at Basha will play for Coach Trent May.

Genies post player Constance Lee has signed with Lake Forest
College. She will play for Coach Tamlyn Tills at the
Illinois school. Additionally, she will play in the school's
orchestra.
